It’s a little after 7:00 p.m., and I am sitting in court with Dan Wilson from our media partner, The Post-Crescent. This is the third trial that he and I have covered together.
We don’t have a verdict yet. So far the jury has asked two questions. The first, the jurors requested the accident reconstruction report prepared by the Wisconsin State Patrol in this case. It’s been a point of contention in the trial. The State Patrol said Tiffany was walking on the shoulder at the time of the accident, while defense experts testified she was likely walking on the pavement.
I was just talking with the bailiffs for this courtroom, Fran and Teresa. They are very nice and have been helpful all week. So, we’re just waiting, waiting, waiting!
