Preventing Bullying and Harassment
On March 10 & 11, our FVL schools system will be sponsoring a
system-wide event to help develop awareness by students, faculty,
parents, and the community of the dangers of bullying and harassing
behavior in schools today.
Our keynote speaker for the event will be Jim Jelinske of Creative
Education Services. Entitled *Preventing Bullying and Harassment,"
Jim has shared his message across the country and we are excited to be
able to host him here in the Fox Cities. He will be presenting to our
FVL Schools K-8th grade students throughout the day on Monday, March 10.
Our Community Parents' Night session is scheduled to take place in the
FVL auditorium at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10. Jim will then follow up
by speaking to Fox Valley Lutheran High School students on March 11.
FVL Schools is excited to offer these presentations. Today more than
ever students need information to make decisions when confronted with
bullying situations.
