Big Top Chautauqua's "Chance" at Lawrence University
With an eclectic blend of music praised as “polished and passionate” by the Los Angeles Times, the Big Top Chautauqua cello and voice duo “Chance” will perform at Lawrence University as part of a U.S. tour. Combining the soulful cello of Ed Willett and the hot vocals of Cheryl Leah, the duo has been performing together for 20 years, including 13 seasons on the Big Top Chautauqua public radio show. Leah, who has performed with jazz greats Herbie Hancock and Miroslav Vitous, and Willett, a graduate of one of the world’s leading conservatories, perform a wide range of music from Bach to Bonnie Raitt to Queen.
