This concert, funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the
Arts, brings together the voices of nearly 150 high school singers from
20 high schools and six states for a program of diverse and challenging
choral repertoire. The concert will feature the world premiere of
“Careless Carols,” a work commissioned by composer Andrew Rindfleisch
specifically for this concert. Charles Bruffy, artistic director of the
Phoenix Bach Choir and the Kansas City Chorale, will serve as guest
conductor of the choir.
