On Thursday February7th, 2008 the first ever 'Political Talk' was held at Green Bay's
Daily Buzz Cafe. Candidates ,elected officials and activists from around Brown County attended. The February time was to focus on primary candidates for local offices. Candidates (both partisan and non-partisan) from Green Bay,Allouez,Ashwauebenon,Bellevue, and Humboldt talked about their communities.
The idea was to use the format as a 'solutions for our communities discussion'. All of the candidates agreed to continue the discussion and cooperation. Many ideas and possible solutions to problems were discussed in the relaxing and informal environment of the coffee shop. Leading topics included solutions to homelessness and how to get all Brown County area elected officials to communicate better in all issues they share.
The 'solutions for our communities discussions' will continue at the Thursday, March 6 'Political Talk' at The Daily Buzz
