The Wartburg College Wind Ensemble of Waverly, Iowa, will present a 7 p.m. concert Tuesday, April 22, at Marion High School. The concert is free and open to the community.

The 55-member Wind Ensemble represents the college’s top wind and percussion players. The performance is part of the group’s Midwestern tour during the Wartburg’s April 19-26 Tour Week. Wartburg is a four-year, liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The college enrolls 1,801 students from 24 U.S. states and 43 countries. Music is among the college’s top five academic majors, and Wartburg is the only Iowa private college that offers a Bachelor’s degree in music therapy.
