JAM FOR JUSTICE PLANNED TO BENEFIT FREEDOM HOUSE
Students attending UW-Green Bay, in cooperation with the Ecumenical Center, are planning a Jam for Justice concert event to benefit Freedom House. The event will be held Friday, May 2 and will begin with a free simple supper at 5:00pm and speakers from Freedom House. The evening will continue with live music performed by UWGB students and faculty. Performers include: Finding Faith Band, Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, Good News, Joey Cox, Dave Sponholz, Zack Davoodi, Mike Casey and more. A bonfire and s’mores will cap off the event.
The mission of Freedom House is to serve the needs of the homeless, helpless and hopeless families in Green Bay, Wisconsin area and to fulfill Matthew 25:32-46. The organization also provides programs that cause families to be successful in all areas of their lives: spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically, financially and intellectually.

The Ecumenical Center, a non-profit organization providing campus ministry serviced to students at UW-Green Bay, is located on campus between the Kress Events Center and UWGB housing. Admission to the Jam for Justice is an item you no longer want that could be used by homeless families getting a “hand up” from Freedom House.
