All-City Orchestra Concert
The Kaukauna Area School District Orchestra Program will present its annual All-City Orchestra Concert on Monday, May 19 at 7pm at the Bernie Hupperts Auditorium in Kaukauna High School. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. The concert will feature the 5th grade orchestra, the River View Middle School orchestra and the Kaukauna High School orchestra. Featured music will include Pachelbel's Canon, a full symphony performance of the last movement of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony (Ode to Joy) , Ravel's Pavane for a Dead Princess and Bach's Gigue Fugue as well as other pieces by the fifth grade and middle school orchestras. Graduating seniors will be recognized and the Director's Award for High School Orchestra will be presented. All students will receive their solo/ensemble medals and certificates of participation In addition private lesson scholarships will be awarded by the Kaukauna Orchestra Parents. A reception sponsored by the Kaukauna Orchestra Parents will follow the concert. The orchestras are directed by Lori Lacey.
