Baby Bison Fest
The Fourth Annual Baby Bison Fest will be held at Crossroads Ranch in Fence, WI on Saturday, June 7. Baby Bison Fest will kick off with the moving of the herd from one paddock to another.
Throughout the day hay wagon rides will run to give visitors a chance to see the herd up close. In addition, visitors to the ranch are able to walk around and look at the Bison through the fence.
The Florence County Fair will be holding a cookout of Bison Burgers and Brats as a fundraiser. Frozen bison meat will also be available for sale.
Les Artiste art club will have an artwork on display. New this year will be a car show with four area car clubs participating. Other activities include a petting zoo with Ed’s Baby Animals, a live owl display with Phyllis Carlson, and there will be booths and other fundraisers for local organizations.
The 2008 Florence County Fairest of the Fair will be crowned at 1 p.m.
There is no charge for this event, and parking is free along the road. The Florence High School Forensics team will be offering VIP parking inside the gate for a small donation of $3. This money will be used to help support the self-funded FHS Forensics team.
Baby Bison Fest will be held Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Crossroads Ranch in Fence, WI. Crossroads ranch is located at the corner of County Road C and Hwy 101.
