The Oconto County FFA Chapters invite you to the 2008 Oconto County FFA Brunch on the Farm. This year’s brunch will be held on Sunday, June 8th at the Oconto County Fair Grounds in Gillett. Brunch will be served from 8am until 1pm and will include pancakes, sausage, cheese, ice cream, and milk. Prices are $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 10 and under.
Bring the entire family out to breakfast and enjoy a petting zoo, farm machinery displays and educational arts and crafts. Don’t forget your britches for the Little Farmer Dress-Up Contest and bring out your child’s artistic side with this year’s coloring contest! Judging for both events will take place at 11:00 a.m. and is open to all youth ages birth to twelve.
June Dairy Month has been a Wisconsin tradition since 1942. Wisconsin’s Dairy Industry accounts for nearly 22.6 billion dollars in statewide economic activity! The Oconto County Dairy Industry accounts for over 221.4 million dollars in economic activity and provides 1044 jobs – an industry that deserves to be celebrated!
