Etter Markins Memorial Motorcycle Ride & Poker Run –
- Description: The 2008 Etter-Markins Memorial Motorcycle Ride & Poker Run will be held on Saturday, July 19. We will be riding from the Oneida Travel Center on Old Hwy 29 (Hwy 29, Exit 246). Registration begins at 9:00am, with Opening Ceremonies at 11:00am. (From what I understand, Mr. Tom Zalaski will be our emcee!) The cost is $25 per rider and $10 per passenger. This fee includes a “cook your own” steak dinner at the end of the ride and each registered rider will receive a ride t-shirt. The ride will go past the “crash site” (Hwy 54 @ Bay Ridge Ct., Oneida) then continue through Downtown Seymour with a stop at the Seymour Bowling alley. From that point begins a three stop poker run which will end at the Time Out Sports Bar in Ashwaubenon. At this point there will be numerous raffles along with Live and Silent Auction items. The day will culminate with the “cook our own” steak dinner. Watch for Ride Icons and posters in local businesses soon.
