Wisconsin International School Parent Information Meeting
WIS is an independent, college preparatory pre-K through 8th grade school, which will open in the fall of 2008 in West De Pere. Offering an age-appropriate, rigorous curriculum, WIS will develop leaders, inspire active learning and instill the principles of responsible global citizenship. Students will master skills in English, language arts, mathematics, science, history, social sciences, Spanish and Mandarin, physical education and fine arts.
In addition to hearing Stan Way, Head of School, talk about our mission, vision and philosophy for WIS, he will discuss International Baccalaureate and how that program fits into our curriculum. We will have text books and teaching materials on display, teachers will be available to meet, you can see a Smart Board technology demonstration and new architectural drawings for the interior of the school building will be on hand.
WIS is the only independently operated school with no religious affiliation in Brown County welcoming students of all ethnic, racial, religious and socio-economic backgrounds.
