End your day by bringing the whole family, blankets and roasting sticks for an evening of fun at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. Join Sanctuary staff in the outdoor amphitheater for
“Family Campfire Night” on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
“September evenings make for perfect campfire nights because the summer humidity has left along with the mosquitoes,” said Kim Diedrich, chief naturalist at the Sanctuary. “Everyone enjoys an old fashioned campfire and this event makes for a unique way to spend family time together.”
Families and Sanctuary staff will sing songs and tell stories around the campfire. Marshmallows will also be available for roasting. Cost is $2 per Green Bay resident or Friends member and $3 per non-resident. Pre-registration is required by calling (920) 391-3671.
