The Dance Company is announcing auditions for the upcoming 2008-2009 performing season. Any person 10 years of age or older who has ballet and jazz dance experience may audition to become a member of the company. A panel of judges will score all participants based on performance and presentation.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 6th, 2008. Sign-in will begin at 11:00 a.m. Combinations instruction and practice will take place from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the auditions officially beginning at 12:00 p.m. Auditions will be held at Shirley Van’s Dance Studio East located at 530 Greene Avenue, Green Bay.
The Dance Company is a non profit performing arts company. We encourage anyone who has a desire to perform before a live audience to audition. The Dance Company offers a unique opportunity to take dance one step higher than recitals and competitions by performing in full length theater productions.
The 2008-2009 season will be an exciting one for The Dance Company. We will be performing The Nutcracker as well as Beauty and the Beast. We hope you will join us for our auditions!
