ASTRONOMY DAY
ASTRONOMY DAY
Come out and learn about planets around other stars, black holes, supernovas and more fun things about astronomy at the Neville Public Museum on Saturday, September 6th from 9:00am to 3:00pm. This year’s Astronomy Day event is sponsored by the Neville Public Museum Astronomical Society, and is guaranteed to delight kids of any age! Your kids will love making their own comets, and creating craters just like on the moon.
In addition to the daytime activities, the Neville Public Museum Astronomical Society will be hosting star gazing through telescopes in the evening starting around 7:30pm at the Wildlife Sanctuary’s observing field off of Danz Avenue. Come out and see craters and mountains on the Moon, Jupiter and its 4 main moons Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto, and other celestial wonders of the night sky.
Both day and evening events and activities are FREE!
