Faith, Reason and Science: The Norbertine Heritage
ST. NORBERT COLLEGE’S CENTER FOR NORBERTINE STUDIES TO PRESENT SYMPOSIUM
DE PERE: St. Norbert College’s Center for Norbertine Studies will sponsor the symposium, “Faith, Reason and Science: The Norbertine Heritage” on Wednesday, September 3, at 7:00 p.m. in Fort Howard Theater of the F.K. Bemis International Center located on the St. Norbert campus. This event is free and open to the public. Speakers include St. Norbert faculty members Wolfgang Grassl, associate professor of business administration, and Anindo Choudhury, associate academic dean and associate professor of biology and environmental science, as well as the Rev. Dr. Theodore Antry, O.Praem., of Daylesford Abbey. Each will present a paper that addresses the place of Premonstratensian thinkers within this wider Catholic tradition, and the implications of this Norbertine perspective for academic and intellectual life today.
