Do-It-Yourself African Safari
Join Amy Wolf and Bob Howe for a Do-It-Yourself African Safari on Wednesday, September 10 at the Neville Public Museum. This free presentation is part of the Natural History Lecture Series and will begin at 7 pm.
Safaris to the Serengeti and other African countries can cost thousands of dollars per person, and that’s not even including the airfare! For many adventurous families, such trips are unaffordable. However, South Africa offers an alternative. During their presentation, Amy and Bob will take you along on their family trip to Kruger National Park and other areas of southern Africa - without expensive guides or unnecessary (and costly) frills. Come see and hear the tales of the experience of a lifetime, complete with lions, leopards, giraffes, and flamingos!
This program is co-sponsored by the Wild Ones, NEW Audubon, and the Baird Creek Preservation Foundation.
Matt Welter is the Curator of Education at the Neville Public Museum and can be contacted at 920-448-7851 or welter_mt@co.brown.wi.us for more information on this program.
