Granny Smith 5k Run/Walk
The Oshkosh Seniors Center will be hosting the Granny Smith 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, September 27---to benefit the fitness and exercise programs at the Oshkosh Seniors Center. Registration will be 8:00-8:45 a.m. at the Oshkosh Seniors Center north building, 234 N. Campbell Rd. in Oshkosh. Run starts at 9:00 a.m., walk starts at 9:05 a.m., “Seedling Run” for age categories of 3-5 yrs, 6-8 yrs, and 9-10 yrs will begin at 10:15 a.m. Pre-registration to insure T-shirt size must be received by September 24. Registration fees: $15 donation (pledges encouraged—see registration form attached), $8 donation for Seedling Run. Registration will be accepted on race day for a $20 minimum donation. All participants will receive a free T-shirt with their registration; age group awards will be given. After the race, participants are welcome to enjoy caramel apples and register to win a bicycle donated by Oshkosh Cyclery.
