1st ANNUAL
In July 2008, our precious son, Travis, passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
It is a devastating loss, one with which our family continues to struggle. In an effort to help us
deal with Travis’ death, our family has decided to take a proactive step towards ensuring
that all infants in our community and beyond survive and thrive.
First Candle is a national organization, which promotes safe pregnancies and the
survival of babies through the first years of life.
