Fifth year for this popular event! Meet some of Green Bay’s prominent and not so prominent people at their gravesites. This year we are featuring several new people and some that were previously featured, but that had a great impact on our area. Once these folks walked, laughed, worked and contributed to our community. Now they are a memory of yesterday. Hear their stories – take a step back to their time. Fort Howard Memorial Park was founded in 1862, as Fox Hills Cemetery, and was once part of the bay of Green Bay. Following your tour through the cemetery, refreshments will be served.
This event is being sponsored by the Brown County Historical Society, Fort Howard Memorial Park, and Schroeder’s Flowers.
This is a guided walking tour that takes place outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
Lightweight portable lawn chairs are recommended.
