Curt Bengel Benefit
The Curt Bengel Benefit sponsored by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, and Community Benefit Tree will be held on July 11, 2009 at The Bar - 2435 W. Nordale Dr. in Appleton. Starting at 3:00 pm and ending at Midnight. Kids Events, Games, Silent Auction, Bucket Raffles, and 50/50 Raffles will be held from 3 pm – 7 pm. Food, Fun & Friendship will be on tap for this event. Music 8 pm – Midnight by Boxkar.
Curt Bengel has Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML). Two days after February 9, 2009, the day he received the news he had AML, he started chemotherapy. Curt is not able to work while undergoing chemotherapy treatments and a bone marrow transplant. The money from the benefit will be used for medical and living expenses.
