Description: Manitowoc, get ready to meet Chairman Bob! Robert Mariano, who serves as Chairman and CEO of Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc. and stars as Chairman Bob in the Roundy’s commercials, is stopping at the Copps on 3300 Calumet Ave in Manitowoc from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on July 10 to serve $1 lunches featuring Roundy’s brand products to area shoppers. All proceeds from the barbecue will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Manitowoc County.
$1 Lunch Menu
The $1 menu is a barbecue lover’s dream, featuring Chairman Bob-“approved” Roundy’s brand products. The $1 lunch includes: a choice of Roundy's Select Italian sausage, fresh bratwurst or hot dog, plus potato chips or pretzels; Roundy’s Select soda or bottled water to drink; and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Fruit cups featuring the high quality produce that Chairman Bob touts in the newest commercials will be available for $1. All proceeds from this event will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Manitowoc County.
Free Summer Fun Activities
In addition to a delicious lunch, barbecue-goers are invited to participate in Chairman Bob fun at the barbecues, including taking a spin at the prize wheel, striking a pose with the “Bobtourage” and receiving a free photo and magnetic photo frame, applying cool temporary tattoos, and coloring “Bobtourage” coloring pages. New this year, shoppers will be able to challenge each other to a fun game of beanbag toss. Customers can also get a “Taste of Roundy’s” by taking a blind taste test of Roundy’s brand products versus national brand products.
