Skyline Comedy Café in Appleton will honor all area healthcare employees with free admission starting July 1, into any Wednesday 8 p.m. performance. This effort is part of the longtime Fox Valley venue’s Worry-Free Wednesdays campaign to help community members enjoy a great evening out and recognize those who work hard for us all, in conjunction with the club’s biggest summer lineup in 15 years.
Worry-Free Wednesdays will feature free admission for employees in a different industry each month, from military members and service employees to paper company and healthcare professionals. The deal runs indefinitely and includes admission Wednesdays to summer blockbuster shows, including:
Mike MacRae (Comedy Central, TBS, Letterman; July 1 – 3)
Geoff Tate (Bob and Tom Radio Show, Comedy Central; July 8 – 11)
Michael Loftus (exec. story editor, The George Lopez Show; Comedy Central; Star Search; July 15 – 18)
Roy Wood Jr. (HBO, E!, BET, BBC, Comedy Central; July 22 – 25).
Skyline Comedy patrons also can still take advantage of its free “Nights of Laughter” initiative, which offers those recently unemployed and current members of the military free admission to shows Wednesday through Friday (excludes special events and Saturdays) through this fall.
Reservations are always required. In July, healthcare employees will be asked to provide some form of employment identification at check-in the night of the show. For Nights of Laughter, current service people and veterans will need to provide military ID, and those recently unemployed can provide their most recent Unemployment Claim certification at check-in.
Skyline’s Worry-Free Wednesday and ”Nights of Laughter” include free admission in general seating. A two-beverage minimum still applies to all Skyline Comedy Cafe guests. To reserve seats and for more information, please contact the Box Office during normal business hours at (920) 734-JOKE (5653), ext. 3.
