The bridge that I am most afraid of collapsing is the Highway 41 Butte des Morts bridge north of Oshkosh. It is over 40 years old ,and if it collapses, it's a long way down .I remember when I was a small boy, I begged and pleaded with my parents not to go on  41 from Fond du Lac to our grandparent's cottage near Mountain; rather choosing the relative safety of Highways 151 and 55 and , ironically, the drawbridge over the Fox River in Kaukauna. I was scared of drawbridges,too,but it was a kiss from Miss America compared to Butte des Morts.
To this day I am still scared of the Butte des Morts bridge,both as a driver and as a passenger. I had nightmares as a kid of falling off the Butte des Morts bridge as it crumbled;and I still have them today.I hope and pray that they are not premonitions about that bridge. With all the traffic on Highway 41, there would be a disaster equal to the 35W collapse on August 1st. in Minneapolis.That is why I fear the Butte des Morts bridge.

I travel from Oconto to Sturgeon Bay, five days a week, crossing over the Leo Frigo bridge both ways.  Though I've never given it much thought, several of my coworkers are nervous about traveling over this bridge because of its height.  I've only been concerned during winter months;  during poor weather conditions.  I've seen a lot of careless drivers crossing and wonder how long until an incident will happen.  I guess I'm like the majority of travelers, though, and "assume" our nation's bridges are very...safe?

Speaking of local bridges, I know someone who should jump off one... that annoying Mary Love chick in the morning on 95.9.  I don't mean to be insensitive, but can she find ANYTHING else to talk about other than exercising, basketball or her whiny kids?  Newsflash... not everyone wants to hear you prattle on and on EVERY STINKING MORNING about your "precious" brats nor do we want to sit through another "well, in BASKETBALL we did this, this and the other...." NOR do we want to hear how many miles you ran yesterday and your self-indulgent litany of how "skinny and hot" you are getting.  Oh, and you make me want to poke hot forks into my eardrums with your shrill harpy voice and your annoying smug personality which is consistently enabled by your p*ssy-whipped emasculated husband.  Sorry, I didn't know how to start a new topic and I'm a little crabby because I'm cold.
