Last week, my mother, father, sister, my girlfriend and I went on vacation to the Florida Keys. My folks came from Great Falls, MT and my sister came from Denver, CO. My girlfriend and I came from Portland, OR. All of us were looking forward to the sand, sun and maybe a cocktail or two. Then I flipped on ESPN, waiting for someone to finish getting ready for a fun day of doing nothing but soaking up the sun. The next thing I knew, there we were, huddled in front of the TV watching what we all knew was going to happen eventually. My father and I, both wearing Green Bay shirts. I know no one has passed away, that this isn't that big of a deal to most people... But if you have ever considered yourself a Packer fan, a football fan or just a sports fan in general... In the future we'll all be involved in a conversation of where we were when we "heard the news" and I think my story will top everyone else’s. Thanks for all the ups and down Brett.
